| Paul is a former senior officer in the Royal Air Force with over 20 years' experience as a trainer. During his service career, his training ranged from training aircrew and engineering technicians through to the more specialist roles of training the RAF's training designers and training managers. In his final role in the Service he created a Personal Development Squadron at the RAF's largest training base in the United Kingdom where he oversaw the development of several thousand Service and civilian personnel. |
| Since leaving the RAF, Paul has quickly established himself as an accomplished management skills trainer whose clients include GlaxoSmithKline, Bahrain Telecommunications Company, Bahrain Civil Service Bureau, Kuwait Oil (UK) Limited, Texaco, Department for Work and Pensions, Department of Health, Bahrain Government Organisation for Sport and Youth, Staffordshire Police Command Team, and Telford College of Arts and Technology. Additionally, Paul is an online tutor for the Open University. |
| Paul is in demand as a public speaker with regular appearances at the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development's Human Resource Development Conferences and also at the World Open Learning Conferences. For many years a member of the Council of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, Paul has recently been appointed to the Institute's Membership and Education Committee. |
| Many of the training programmes that Paul has designs and delivers utilise the Strength Deployment Inventory™ (SDI™) that enables a great degree of insight into personal behaviour and motivation. With over 10 years' experience with the SDI™ and over 500 applications, Paul is recognised as a leading practitioner in using this instrument. Paul is also licensed by the British Psychological Society as an accredited user of psychometric assessments. Recently, Paul has presented seminars on the SDI™ at the Bahrain Defence Forces Hospital and at the Arab Open University. |
| Immediately prior to his retirement from the RAF, Paul completed a Masters Degree in Education at London's prestigious Brunel University to add to his first degree from the Open University and two Post Graduate Certificates in Education. |
