First Aid at Work
Introduction
This course is based on the British Health and Safety Executive (HSE) approved First Aid at Work course and complies fully with the stringent Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations established in 1981.
A detailed agenda of the course is listed below, but the course can be modified and tailored to your organisations specific needs. All candidates are provided with their own first aid manual for personal study both during and after the course.
Course Aim
Having completed the course, delegates will acquire an equivalent of the internationally recognised qualification, Health and Safety Executive First Aid at Work certificate. This certificate is valid for three years.
It is essential that all companies and establishments have fully qualified First Aid trained personnel in order to protect both their employees as well as the company themselves from litigation proceedings. The fact that this course is a legal requirement in the UK, illustrates the necessity and validity of such a course.
This comprehensive course ensures that the highest standards are achieved and maintained. Rather than a concluding assessment at the end of the course, delegates are continually and closely assessed on a formative basis allowing the trainer to ensure each individual's needs are catered for thereby guarantying their success.

- Perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) confidently
